We spent a very powerful and moving afternoon at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. I really don't know what else to say...I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.
We then visited the State Capitol Complex and just took some outside pictures. Since it is Sunday we were unable to go inside.
Then downtown to the "Bricktown" district for dinner at Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse (Jean, you will be pleased to know that they have white tableclothes!). Very nice and very good! A brief stroll down the Bricktown Canal and then back to the campground.
Oklahoma City has so much to offer!!! Much more than we will have time for (and much more than they had in the 80's when I was last here...imagine that!)! It is a great, and very diverse city...we wish we were able to "do it all"...but Irmo calls!
