First of all, in May, when we decided to stop there from a driving distance standpoint, the last thing on our minds was Jerry Sandusky's trial. When we arrived, the trial had ended and the jury had started deliberating around 1:30 that afternoon. Needless to say, the media had taken over the town!!! It really is a beautiful historic town and one that we would have liked to have spent more time in...and the campground was great...another KOA! We met the nicest couple from England, Alan and Kay, who were literally on the last leg of a "trip around the world"! When they arrived in the United States they rented an RV in San Francisco and were driving across the country to New York, where they would turn the RV in and fly back to England! Really fascinating and their pictures were amazing!!! The next day the "girls" had a grooming appointment at Petco so we dropped them off and headed over to Penn State's Beaver Stadium and the All Sports Museum. I'll post some pictures of our "Bellefonte adventure" here and then attach the albums for those of you who want to see more!

Alan and Kay showing us their "route around the world"!
Just imagine how beautiful and quaint the town of Bellefonte is...without the "media frenzy"! Fortunately, Jerry Sandusky was found guilty the next day...so their wait was not in vain.
This reporter from Channel 6 wanted to interview us. Of course, we said no! With our luck we would have said something that would make a good "sound bite" for the national news! Not going to happen!!!
