August 11, 2012 - Boston Museum of Fine Arts and Fenway Park, Mass.

Our first day in Boston was fantastic.  The weather was beautiful, even though the forecast was for rain.  The campground owner was a tremendous assistance in giving us guidance, parking instructions, and a pass to the Museum of Fine Arts (www.mfa.org), which was our first stop.  The museum was fantastic!  We really could spend days there but, in the interest of time, only spent about 4 hours.  They did allow cameras with no flash so we were able to take pictures of some magnificant art by Picasso, Monet, Rembrant, Renoir, van Gogh, Rousseau, sculptures by Rodin, a Strativari violin...well, the list just goes on and on so you will just have to look at our photo albums!  What a fabulous time we had!

You know how diverse we are...we left this magnificant museum to go to Fenway Park, Home of the Boston Red Socks (http://boston.redsox.mlb.com)!  There won't be another home game until we leave so we had to be happy with a tour of the stadium...and we were!

The red seat indicates the longest home run hit in the park...500+ feet.

Back to Boston tomorrow...so much to do...so little time!
