August 18, 2012 - Boston, Mass.

We woke up to rain again but, did that deter us from today's adventure...of course not!  We didn't mind walking in the rain in downtown Boston!  We knew we only had two more days to see and do all we wanted to in Boston so we weren't going to let anything stop us!

We first went to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.  When we first arrived there were not many people so we thought "great, we won't be fighting a crowd here"!  Wrong!  It didn't take long for the halls and rooms to fill with people, so our camera shots are not very good.  At least they will serve as a reminder of what we saw, which is really why we take so many pictures.

We left there and headed to Boston Harbor.  Lucky us...two cruise ships were in port so we were really in crowds the rest of the day!  Not a problem...just crowded!  We had lunch at Legal Seafood, which was great!  Then headed to finish the "Freedom Trail" (remember, we did part of it last weekend).  Woops, I'm wrong!  We toured the rest of the "Freedom Trail" that is in downtown Boston...which covered Paul Revere's House, Old North Church, and Copp's Hill Burial Ground and everything in between.  Tomorrow we will finish the "Freedom Trail" with Bunker Hill and Old Ironsides (the U.S.S. Constitution), and then head to Cambridge and Harvard to see as much as we can in the time we have left.

The rain was sporadic and the crowds were heavy but it was still such a fun day!  Boston is such a great city and there is still so much more we want to do here.  Guess we will just have to add it to our list of "places we want to come back to"!

It's late and we have a busy day tomorrow so I am just going to add the links for you to click on to see the pictures.
