July 6, 2012 - Stowe and Waterbury, VT

We do love Vermont!!!  Today we went to Stowe and the Trapp Family Lodge...remember the Von Trapps of The Sound of Music fame?  After they escaped from Austria they settled in Stowe because it so resembled the Austrian Alps...breathtaking!  Then we went to Waterbury to the Green Mountain Coffee factory and Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream factory.  The coffee was great but we didn't get any ice cream...too many kids!  The Cabot Cheese and Lake Champlain Chocolate outlets were a great success...so, so good!  Did I say it was a great day???  And I must mention again the beautiful drive...it's so hard not to take lots of pictures!!!
