Today we had lunch at a really good restaurant in Spearfish called The Bum Steer (Jean, you would love it...notice the tablecloths and linen napkins!) and then went to Devils Tower National Monument in Wyoming. So impressive is this landmark that it was designated as America's first national monument in 1906. We loved it! It's the kind of place you can go time and time again and never tire of it! Yes, we took lots of pictures and acknowledge that we are really going to have to exercise some control when we go to the Grand Canyon! Maybe put a brace on our "snap" finger or tie one arm behind our backs!!! On the way back to Spearfish we stopped at a 110 year old country store in Aladdin, Wyoming (population 15). It was too funny...when we walked in they told us we better hurry up and look because they closed in 3 minutes! Needless to say, we rushed in, took a few pictures, and were out of there in 3 minutes! Then we drove through Belle Fourche, SD which, by the way, is the geographical center of all 50 states! (I had to throw in a little trivia!). Lebanon, Kansas is the center of the lower 48 states.
OK...class dismissed! It's time for pictures!

Today's "adventure" was another opportunity that we are so grateful to have experienced! And experiencing it with Duane and Debbie was the "icing on the cake"!
