Day 47 - July 21, 2011 - Hardin, Montana

It's always a little sad to leave some of the campgrounds we have stayed in because we meet some of the nicest people.  But, life goes on...and so do our adventures!  We left Medora this morning for Hardin, Montana.  It was a nice drive and the time flew but, what should have taken about 4 hours took 6 hours because of the construction on I-94 and Highway 47.  The weather was beautiful, though, and some of the drive was.....  So far North Dakota and South Dakota have Montana beat on the bluest and prettiest sky.  Maybe, by the time we leave Montana, we will feel differently!

Leaving Medora, ND for Hardin, MT

I missed the Welcome to Montana sign but made up for it at the Welcome Center!

Don't want the tank to get close to empty in this country!

The colors are finally getting vibrant!

Another clean and well maintained KOA.  And the managers are so nice...they live in Texas and come to Montana in the summer to get away from the heat!

That's us at the end of the road where you see the blue sky.

The Hardin Rainbow Girls sell ice cream every night as a fundraiser.

Glenn has another new friend.  They live near Asheville, NC between Hendersonville and Brevard.

Tonight was "catch up on the laundry" night for me!  Having 4 washers and 4 dryers at my disposal sure gets it done faster!  And...drumroll please...I got all of the pictures posted from yesterday.  Be sure to check them out to see the buffalo as well as the beautiful scenery.
