Day 52 - July 26, 2011 - Cody, Wyoming

The hardest thing about taking a trip like this is that there is so much to see that we don't want to allow any time to rest and just relax around the campground.  Today was no different except that we did sleep later than we intended again...yes, even Glenn!  We had lunch at maybe the best Mexican Restaurant that I have eaten ate!  We sat outside and watched the people go by!  Fun!  Cody is the perfect kind of town for that!

Then we went back to Buffalo Bill's Historical Museum and spent the afternoon there.  It is such a large and diverse museum...remember, 5 buildings...that we really had to rush today.  One more day would have been perfect!

We left the museum right before it closed at 6:00 and just in time to get over to The Irma Hotel for the daily gunfight in the street.  They even set up reserved seating outside the hotel ($2.00 a seat)!  It was fun and different, but not something we have to do again!  Well, maybe if we get a seat next time!

Back at the motorhome Glenn washed the windshield...yeah!  Tomorrow we leave for Yellowstone and "the most scenic 52 miles in America" and, you know I will be taking pictures!  I headed over to the laundramat...this campground has a really nice one with 10 washers and 10 dryers!  Big time!

I am posting a link to the pictures, which are in a Picasa Web Album.  These have not been edited or deleted and remember, we are both taking pictures with 2 cameras.  As a result, there are two sets of pictures in one album.  I hope that this will be easier for you to view either in a slide show or individually, and it will save me time posting them.

Click on the link below and, be patient...it will take a minute or two to load the album.
