Day 49 - July 23, 2011 - Hardin MT

Would you believe we slept until 1:00 and I was the first to wake up!  OK, I know you would believe I did...but Glenn???  He has been known to sleep late in the past but it is rare that he sleeps this late! The "girls" didn't even get up until we did!  And it felt so good!  We got up refreshed and went to the Big Horn County Historical Museum. It consists of 20 historic structures on a 22-acre site.  An amazing museum and a really good (and slow paced) afternoon.

This man, Everett Bullis, is 89, and a retired mortician in Hardin.  He was very active in setting up the museum and is there every day talking to people and walking with them as they tour.  He buried many of the remains at Little Bighorn Battlefield.  We would have loved to talk to him longer but he was waiting for his wife to pick him up!
