Day 7 - Lansing and Mason MI

We left Perrysburg around 11:00 am for Lansing and Mason MI.  It was another great drive...the weather sunny and temperature around 70.  Lansing Cottonwood Campground is really pretty...we are surrounded by trees with a lake behind us.  And little cottonballs are flying all around from the trees...sometimes it looks like snow!  We went to Teresa and Russell's home around 4:00, went to Bryan's baseball game at 5:30, and then Russell grilled some tremendous steaks back at home!  I must mention that Russell is probably the best cook we know...particularly with the grill and frying fish!  We will be here for 5 days, until Thursday.  I think I have already said in past posts how excited we are to be here!

Katie and Kallie "kissing" Lexie this morning while we were getting ready!

Lexie's surprised look when the flash went off!

I got the Welcome to Michigan sign!!!

Of course, we stopped at the Michigan Welcome Center.  The woman there has a brother in Plum Branch SC...imagine that!  She said that of all the South Carolinians she has asked I am the 6th person that knew where Plum Branch is!  Unfortunately, I didn't win any money for the correct answer!

It was so hard for Glenn to not stop at Cabelas!  If we hadn't been on our way to Teresa's we probably would have stopped and that would not have been good...fun, but not good for our pocketbook!  As you can see in the picture, it was tough for him to drive by!

A rest area stop for the "girls"!

We have arrived at Lansing Cottonwood Campground!

On to Mason for Bryan's Game!

I know it's a lot of pictures of Bryan but he got so many hits I had a hard time deleting some of them!
