We finally started planning our trip on Sunday, May 29! Yes...we do work better under pressure!!! We had already made reservations in Lansing for our grandson's high school graduation from Mason High School on June 12. We, at least, put our priorities in order to ensure that we had reservations for that. Didn't know when we were leaving Irmo and didn't know where we were stopping on the way, until now. We are leaving Irmo on June 5 and will stay at Fox Inn Campground in Clinton TN for 2 nights. We want to visit with Glenn's sister, Rhonda, and her family in Knoxville on the way to Michigan. We will leave there on June 7 for Big Bone Lick State Park in Union KY and stay there until June 9. Then on to Stony Ridge KOA Campground in Perrysburg OH (near Toledo) until the 11th and then arrive at Cottonwood RV Park in Lansing. We plan to stay in Lansing until the 16th so that we can spend some time with Teresa, Russ and the boys and, hopefully, attend some of Cody and Bryan's baseball games. On the 16th we will head to Mackinaw City in the upper part of Michigan and stay there until the 19th...lots of sightseeing there, from what we understand. After that, we will head west...destinations to be determined once we get "on the road" because, imagine this, we are running out of time! Did I say we work better under pressure!
Glenn getting input from our friend, Janice Foy.
I'm on the laptop making reservations after Glenn researches the campgrounds. The "girls" were just "chillin", as usual, wherever we are.
Glenn is really great at research. It was fun planning since both of us had computers!
