Day 8 - Lansing and Mason MI

It was 49 degrees when we woke up...really nice after all the heat!  We walked around the campground, came back to the motorhome to relax, and then left at 2:00 for Teresa's.  Cody opened gifts and then we left for his graduation ceremony with Teresa, Russell, Bryan, Cody, Donna (Cody's grandmother and Teresa's mother) and Melba (Cody's great-grandmother and Glenn's mother).  The ceremony lasted about 2 hours...there were around 215 graduates...and was really special...made me reflect on my own graduation a few years ago!  Graduations really are a special time for celebration!  Of course, we made pictures!  Then tonight we went to dinner  (Cody's girlfriend Lexi joined us) at Bravo, an upscale italian restaurant  (Cody's choice...and an excellent one!).  Bryan came back to the motorhome to spend the night with us...we sure love those boys!  As I said, we took a lot of pictures but I will try to not go overboard with posting too many!

A typical picture of Glenn relaxing...notice the remote in one hand...coffee in the other...and the "girls" beside him!

Cody opening gifts.  Donna had this picture of Cody pitching enlarged and framed with a quote from Tommy Lasorda  "The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man's determination."  What a special gift!  Cody has a baseball scholarship to Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan.

And he got what every graduate wants...lots of money too!

Time for Graduation!

This was taken during the Processional...Cody is in blue, bottom right to the left of the graduate in blue with white sash. I understand what I am saying but I'm not sure it makes sense!  Unfortunately, the pictures I took when he received his diploma were blurry!

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!!  He's a graduate!!!

Family Picture Time!

A page from Cody's senior yearbook. Thank you Donna for sending it!

Dinner at Bravo...Jean, notice the white tableclothes!

Back at the motorhome...Bryan is "down for the count" with Katie and Lexie snuggled up against him! Kallie is sitting in my lap as I "blog"! It was another "really great" day!!!
