Day 9 - Lansing MI

Love, love, love this weather!!!  It's like an early spring or late fall day in South Carolina!  High around 70 and low in the 50's...this is definitely a great place to be in the summer!

Those of you who know me know that I am a night person and have been known to sleep late unless I have a reason to get up (which is when I set 3 alarm clocks!).  Well, today was a "relax" day.  I'm not sure when Glenn and Bryan got up but I got up at 10:00 when Glenn came back to the bedroom to tell me that his mother, Teresa, Donna, Cody and Lexi were here to pick Bryan up to go to Potters Park Zoo.  (We had passed on that outing).  Well, I jumped out of bed to visit with them and as they were leaving Donna was taking pictures (she's like me...God forbid we miss a "Kodak Moment"!  I am really happy that I didn't have "bed head" and didn't take my makeup off when I went to bed at 3:00!

Cody, Lexi, Bryan and me after I (finally) got up!

What a beautiful day to be camping!
I

The first day we were here I mentioned that the "cottonwood" looked like snow falling.  Well, this is what it looks like on the ground!

Glenn and I decided to go to the pet store and Sam's.  It's fun shopping and not being on a schedule!

Then we came back to the motorhome and relaxed...I actually read for awhile and the "girls" curled up with Glenn...one of their favorite past times!

Then I checked email and Roger had sent this picture of our "latest tenants"!

And Debbie helped me via email to put the map of states where we have camped and weather where we are on the front page of our blog.  Thank you Debbie!!!

What an exciting day on the road with the Davises!  Believe it or not, it really was after the last few months!  We ended it with a great pizza dinner with Teresa, Russ, Cody, Bryan, Donna and Melba.  Life is good!
